They don't call it the Emerald Isle for nothing...it really is very green...and driving around for the past week we have come upon some wonderful vistas and attractive small towns set amongst the hills and along the waterfront. For those of you who have never toured Ireland, here are a few images taken around County Louth and on a recent tour up to Londonderry and along the north coast down to Belfast through the countryside, and lovely towns and villages. And yes, that is a red river we came across that fooled my camera...hence the somewhat pale foilage! (I did not photoshop this image!)
