Gordon Price recently posted a list of the world's best public libraries. Since the Amsterdam library was on the list, I thought I would post a few photos that I found on a memory stick provided to me by the City's communications officer. Note the ramp leading to the underground bike garage!
There is however, one thing that I found quite troubling about the library. When I toured through it on Monday, virtually everyone inside was working on their laptop!

That last picture of a ramp is a moving ramp ... lifts bike and accompanying person/ people up one floor (as I remember).
