As noted in an earlier post, Gregory Henriquez and Mayor Robertson recently announced a pedestrian/cycling bridge across False Creek. The design presented reminded me of the work of Santiago Calatrava, one of the most celebrated bridge designers in the world. In case you are not familiar with his work, I am including a few images.
