While it is tempting to take photos of individual buildings and
exceptional streetscapes like the newly created greenway through
downtown Seoul, this isn't the real city. The real city is a montage of
ordinary buildings covered in signs that would never make it through
Vancouver's sign by-law review. The place is a riot of colour and
signage, both in the day time and night time. with street vendors and
markets throughout the city. Here are just a few examples of what most
of Seoul really looks like, based on my very limited travels.
